Invisalign

Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear custom-made, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.

We start by taking a mold of a patient’s teeth that is then scanned, creating a computerized model. Then you simply wear the aligners over your teeth and change them out for a new set of aligners every two weeks.

Invisalign can effectively treat mild to severe cases, including underbite, overbite, overcrowding, and gaps between teeth. Invisalign is most effective when worn 20 to 22 hours per day and changed every two weeks. The average treatment time is often less than that of traditional braces, but the actual length of your treatment depends on the severity of your condition and can be determined by your provider at Pahlavani Dental.

Straighter teeth impact the health of your gums, provide a more even bite which helps support your jaw joint, and can enhance your appearance. If you notice cleating of the gum tissue (a specific shape defect of the gum tissue around your tooth), gingival recession (more generalized gums that are pulling away from teeth), wear on your teeth or sensitivity, staining in between your teeth, or increased tartar in between your teeth, ask your provider at Pahlavani Dental about how clear aligner therapy may be the choice for you.
